Kao
Kao has enjoyed singing from her childhood, where she grew up surrounded by music, due to the influence of her music-loving parents. In order to broaden her musical horizons, she has participated in various bands and music genres such as rock, Blues, country, gospel and jazz.
With musicians Hiroyuki Okubo on bass, and Shouta Watanabe on piano, Kao formed “eN”, an original pops band. eN released their first mini album “My First Note” in 2010. After eN disbanded in 2013, kao started performing as a solo singer, taking part in live concerts, twin vocal units 、and chorus for other artists. In April,2016 she formed kaoband.
Through the view of kao’s world, as a singer, mother and woman, kao creates Japanese songs that can heal and move the hearts of those that hear them.

Eizo Koganezaka
Born in Nagoya, 1987 . Eizo Koganezaka started playing the guitar at the age of fourteen, and started his musical activities at the age of fifteen, forming his own band. At seventeen, he began to study musical technique centered around jazz and music theory in earnest, from a Jazz guitarist. Building up his musical experience in various genres such as Jazz、Blues、Funk、Soul/R&B、Rock and Pops, by performing in bands, sessions and as a support musician at live concerts, Eizo began his professional music career in 2008.
In the same year, Eizo joined the instrumental band “Act Kadenza”,centered around the music of the tsugaru shamisen. Upon the release of their album, he performed in a Japanese nationwide tour, appeared on Japanese television and radio and also performed overseas in Hawaii on a seven day concert tour.
Eizo currently takes an active part in both major and indie artists concerts and recordings, in addition to his own band, live sessions,Big Band, and musical band support, in places outside of the Nagoya region too.
Hiroyuki Okubo
Hiroyuki Okubo graduated from the Musicians Institute, Hollywood in 2001。Studying under Oneida James and others, he learned in depth about Funk, R&B Groove and breathing 。He was nominated for Outstanding Award upon graduation. Upon returning to Japan, Hiroyuki has worked in jazz, funk, gospel and various styles of performances, supporting other artists.
Yoshitaka Yamashita
Yamashita started playing drums when he was in high school. He attended Nagoya University. While at university, he joined a jazz big band and started playing jazz. He attended the Drummers Collective in New York, after graduating university. He studied various musical styles of drum set and percussion at the school.
Upon returning to Japan, Yamashita joined the club-jazz band ‘native’ and released six CDs and one EP. After leaving the band, he joined many sessions and bands.
As a member of the piano trio ‘Dear Blues’, he played at the “Festival eclats d’Email” in 2013 in Limoges, France. The trio released their most recent album ‘La Mesha’ in 2016.
Yamashita toured Italy in 2014 as a member of the band ‘TRISPACE’ and recorded in Sweden. In 2015, the band released their newest album ‘Nightfall’.
In 2016, Yamashita participated in Kaoru Tsubakida’s album ‘Mountain with No Name’ and following nationwide tour in Japan.
Yamashita currently performs with a number of regular bands, in addition to various sessions and recordings in a wide range of music genres.
